Coffee’s story starts in Ethiopia — legend has it that local communities in the Ethiopian highlands first noticed the energizing effect of red coffee berries, brewing them into a drink called “qahwa,” the ancestor of the coffee we drink today. From there it spread across Arabia and into Europe, becoming one of the world’s most loved beverages.

A wet-processed coffee grown at 1,700-2,200m above sea level in southern Ethiopia — one of the region’s most celebrated coffee-growing areas. Expect a hint of spice and a nutty flavor in the cup.
